ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH:

“My Neighbor’s Place is nice. It's a safe place to come to. We do a lot of neighborhood work. We give out clothes on Tuesdays. Wednesdays, we give out food; Thursdays, we provide breakfast; we do a hot healthy breakfast in the morning. Everything is free. I like My Neighbor’s Place because it makes you feel comfortable. You feel welcome at anytime. It reminds me that everybody plays a part. Everybody plays different parts—some people, they sort clothing and they distribute clothing. Some people do the food pantry. Some people do the breakfast. So we all work together as our people power.”
