Yvonne Washington

I'm formerly from down here. I resided in the Lincoln courts. this area, had a group of people who lived in it. So I really enjoy working with students who need refocusing and redirection and following a behavioral plan that will work for them in any environment.  I've learned remarkable things about these dedicated young people, that no matter what obstacles they face, they can do anything. everything that they needed in this school has been brought to the table, and it's flourishing. And so I have two students who have nobody would have thought they would want to go to college. And in two weeks, they will be inside a college campus. One wants to be a surgeon. To me. It took me to live in this environment, to know how to speak and how to push to nudge to love and to care for an individual. I love this school. Because no one asked me. But my mother graduated from here. And she recently passed. So it brings back great memories for me. So I had caring family members and in the community at large. And that's what's still happening here.
