MIDDIE PRIDE
COMING together

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH:
I live on Fifth Avenue in the South Park area.
This is a part of old South Park, which is very beautiful. And most of the neighbors, you know, try to take care of the park. You see people out here planting flowers every year. We have one neighbor in particular that goes out every morning and picks up all the trash out of the park. And it's just a place where everybody can come together and have a good time.
Well, the park has a lot of shade in it. And sometimes you see strangers, you know, sitting in this particular area of the park. You never know who you're going to meet. The park kind of makes people happy. I think Middie Pride is trying to take care of your yard. So you know, you represent a piece that looks nice. And you want your community to look nice, you know, to other people coming in?
MiddiePride is a whole community coming together over issues or any problems that people have. I mean, we all have to live here. And so we should all get along. The ambassadors have done a good job trying to educate the people on certain issues and things that are going on so that everybody can get involved.
