My name is Marie Michelle and I live in Independence, Kentucky. I am from Haiti. When I first came in the United States, I came from a country like, the situation like was not easy. Here, have the opportunity to work and we can do other things. 

When I first came here and where I was living before I wasn't treated like correctly, and I was paying bills and for my house every week. I didn't work yet, and it was very difficult. It was very difficult for me. I even cut off my hair because I was stressed. I started to lose my air, and when I noticed that, I just cut my hair. 

Right now my situation is better because I'm working and everything is good for me.

My vision is to own a business. I want to have a beauty salon, but I know I have to study some things before. A beauty salon where I can sell things for beauty. I love it. I think it's from God, because I did not learn it, but I know how to take care of hair, a lot of stuff about that, without learning.
