ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH:
“ I am the club director for the Roll Hill Boys and Girls Club located inside Roll Hill School. So just us being a community partner and working with the families and you know partnering with the school and the community center, you know, Mr. Reiser, we work closely with Ms. Hill, Ms. Lisa, just that connection of people in general.
They work so hard to provide so many resources for our families and try to provide them with the things that they need, you know, the resources that they need to come out of any type of situation, whether it's homelessness or they need Wi-Fi or they just need comfort. They can walk up the street and hold a conversation. You know, they don't feel, they don't feel disconnected from the people, the community leaders here, and I can appreciate that. So last year, Mr. Riser approached us about a partnership with their Spring Fest community event that they had, and it was a phenomenal time. The kids had a great time and we have a picture with some of my staff and the kids outside eating Kona ice because we sponsored the Kona ice truck for the for the event and It's like you see my supervisor, the kids and me so it's like working with kids is such a blessing because it keeps you young and it keeps you youthful and And we're all sitting on the ground just eating cone of ice. And that's what it's all about. They don't feel like, because Miss Dinesha has a director title, that I'm untouchable. No, Miss Dinesha's going to sit right here on the ground with you and eat this cone of ice and talk about that kickball tournament that we just had.”
